ILOCOS NORTE

It lies in Maira-ira Point, located in Malingay Cove in Sitio


Malingay on the the northern tip of Pagudpud.

The hidden bay is at Mairaira Point, and is situated in a


half moon shaped bay along with its fine white sands that
contrast so strikingly with the blue and some say
cerulean blue waters.

NUEVA ERA, ILOCOS NORTE
It is located at the south eastern tip of Ilocos Norte and 3rd class
municipality consisting of 11 barangays.

They call this place "Lugar ti agkamkamat ti ugsa"(The place of deer


hunters) because the people love exotic food and this place main dish
is venison (the meat of a deer) which is very expensive if you buy it.
DINGRAS, ILOCOS NORTE
It is one of the oldest towns and also known as the Rice Granary of the
Province of Ilocos Norte.

The Municipality of Dingras, Ilocos Norte made history and claimed a


"Guinness World Records" certification on October 9, 2007 after baking a
kilometer-long bibingka or native cake made from 1,000 kilos of cassava and
eaten by 1,000 residents.

KABIGAN FALLS, BALOI PAGUDPUD, ILOCOS NORTE


Pagudpud bears out the perfect creation of the Creator. It is famous for its beautiful beaches and natural wonders. The province is
known as the “Haven of the North”  because it is located at the northernmost tip of Luzon. Despite its location, tourists seek out this
small coastal town of Ilocos Norte as a must-see destination. Pagudpud’s peaceful communities, rich and unspoiled natural resources,
and the absence of mass tourism make the place even more visit-worthy. It’s a very nice vista of green farmland, vegetation and
streams, water buffalo (caribou), rice paddies, and more. The name is derived from the word “kaibigan” or “magkaibigan”
PAOAY SAND DUNES
Paoay, Ilocos Norte
Spanning an area of 88 square kilometers, it is
a continuation of the Ilocos Sand Dunes that is
filled with sand dunes of various heights, with a
scenic view of the coast at the top.

 famous as a location site for known local films like Himala with Nora
Aunor, Pedro Penduko, and Panday; and international films as well, such
as Mad Max (1981), Born on the Fourth of July with Tom Cruise (1989),
and Platoon with Johnny Depp (1986).
CAPE BOJEADOR LIGHTHOUSE
Burgos, Ilocos Norte
Originally designed by renowned engineer
Magin Pers y Pers in 1887, Cape Bojeador
Lighthouse was first lit on March 30, 1892.

The Cape Bojeador Lighthouse was both


declared as a National Historic Landmark as
well as a National Cultural Treasure by the
Philippine Government in 2004 and 2005.
MT. SICAPOO
Ilocos Region
Mount Sicapoo is a mountain in the Cordillera
Central of Ilocos Norte & Abra, Luzon,
northern Philippines.  The highest mountain
of Region 1 seated like a queen at the deep
mountain range in the northern gateway of
Cordillera, the Solsona Mountain Range. The
name of Sicapoo itself fondly derives from
“Suko Na Po” or “I give Up” will tell  you that
this is not a trail you could get out easily.
