DEFINATION
• is a discipline practiced by couples that can be
mixed, female trios, or male quartets.
• acrosport choreography and acrobatic
movements both collective and individual are
harmoniously and they in turn are
synchronized with an instrumental music
without vocals
HISTORY

• -THE ORIGIN: the roots of acrobatic


gymnastics go as far back as Ancient
Greece, but the modern version of
the sport began in the Soviet Union.
• -HISTORY:Although acrobatics is
most commonly associated with
human body performance, it may
also apply to other types of
performance, such as aerobatics . A
female acrobat depicted on an
Ancient Greek hydria, c. 340–330 BC.
• In the femenine kind there are 4 devices:

• Jump of colt: It consists of an alone jump touching the colt


that was punctuated according to the difficulty and the
correction of the jump.
MODALITIES
• Asimetric bars:They are two bars placed to different heights. It
is a question of doing acrobatics to him changing in both bars.

• Floor: The aim is an exercise of acrobatics followed with music.

• Bar of balance: The exercise must last between 70 and 90


seconds. The gymnast have to realize acrobatic, gymnastic
movements and of dance to get a high punctuation.
 In the masculine kind there are 6 devices:
• Bar:consiste in making a series of acrobatics seized to a bar to certain height.
• Jump of colt: It consists of an alone jump touching the colt that was
punctuated according to the difficulty and the correction of the jump.

MODALITIES • Floor: The aim is an exercise of acrobatics in a square doing tours in certain
directions.

• Rings:there are two rings in which it is necessary to turn and use the
physical force to do acrobatics.

• Trestle with arches:It consists of moving the legs and the arms but touching
the trestle only with the arms.

• Parallels:there are two bars placed to a height in which the person has to try
to do acrobatics using both bars of support.
• The elements of balances and acrobatic stunts
make up the principal part of the exercise,
forming a harmoniuos and rhythmic set with
other gymnastic elements of flexibility and
dance.
COMPETITI •  The exercise is done on a base of 12x12 meters
ON and is accompained with music,usually without
letter.
•  The durationis of 2 minutes and 30 seconds. 
•  The age difference between the base and the
acrobat must not be greater than 10 years. 
Major Events
• World Championships are held biennially in even years and
have been contested on three continents. The first World
Championships in 1974 saw acrobats from just seven nations,
but today’s World Championships are now a truly global event
and are the most prestigious event in the sport.
COMPETITI • The first World Cups in Sport Acrobatics predate the FIG,
taking place between 1973 and 1993.Now, the FIG World Cup
ON competitions are very importat at the international calendar
for Acrobatic Gymnastics.
• Since 1993, Acrospor participied in The World Games, a multi-
event games for sports not in the Olympic Games. Organised
by the International World Games Association, the World
Games are held every four years and include all Acrobatic
Gymnastics events.
