 SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

The study will be conducted at the Municipality of

Cabagan with the target respondents of 100 women
age 20 and above of the selected Barangay of
Cabagan.
HYPYTHESIS

 There is no significant difference on the level of awareness on RA 9262 or

Violence against Women and their Children law when grouped according to
profile.

 RESEARCH DESIGN
The study utilized the comparative method of research to determine the awareness of
the respondents about RA-9262 selected barangay in Cabagan, Isabela.
 RESPONDENTS OF THE STUDY

 The proponent selected women and their children from barangay

Catabayungan, Casibarag Norte and Casibarag Sur of the Municipality of
Cabagan. The total quantity of our respondents will be one-hundred (100)
and we will select 50 from each barangay.

 RESEARCH INSTRUMENT
 A self-structured questionnaire based on the implementation
of the law that will be employed to gather the data needed in
the study.
 DATA COLLECTION PROCEDURE
•Ask for the consent of the respondent to fill out the questionnaire.

•Provide instructions for filling up the questionnaire.

•Forwarding of links of the questionnaire to the participants in the survey.

•Submitting the questionnaire to the researchers.

 STATISTICAL TREATMENT OF
DATA
•Frequency and percentage will be utilized to determine the profile of the
respondents.
•Mean will be used to determine the women’s or their children’s level of
awareness in this act.
•The 5 point Likert scale will be utilized to interpret the responses.
•Kruskal-Wallis Test.
