Introduction
Mission
● The mission of Keltron is to transform itself to one of the Navaratna corporations of the
country.
Vision
● The purpose of Keltron is to develop into a national hub for electronics systems in key
industries,
● thereby improving quality of life and business.
Product Profile
Organization Structure
● Keltron has a functional structure. The jobs are grouped based on the functions of each department. Each department
is controlled by a head who reports to the chief general manager.
Advantages
● Department head to supervise
● Centralized decision making
● More employee focus
● Enhanced coordination and control
Disadvantages
Employees place less emphasis on overall company objectives in favour of departmental goals.
Functional departments
Career Planning
● Employees are divided into 8 levels or grades. Promotions are only given to permanent workers. Depending on their
abilities and experience, they are promoted to a higher grade.
Training measures
● An individual who joins the organization will receive induction training for at least one month. Following induction
training, the individual will receive one year of on-the-job training
Performance appraisal systems
● Each executive and employee has their performance reviewed annually. Quarterly appraisal forms are supplied to
apprentices. Based on the results of the evaluation forms, promotions are provided.

Strengths

Oppurtunities
●Growing markets for replacement of spares and after sales services. Hence there is scope for revenue generation
●Only competitor for Control and Instrumentation division is Instrumentation Ltd hence can have better control over the
market, and there are no competitors for PPD(Projects for physically disabled).
Threats
●Many experienced employees have been retiring for the past 2 to 3 years so there is an urgency of new appointments
which are not yet approved by the government.
Financial performance
● The company’s net sales has increased from Rs 6844.78Lakhs(2018-2019) to 7018.06 Lakhs.(2019-2020)
● The profit for the year 2019-2020 is 343.24 lakh and previous year it was 191.68 lakhs.
Recommendations
Conclusion
● Keltron is the most profit making company in the field of electronics undertaken by the Kerala govt.
● The govt support is always an added advantage to the company.
