INSECTS, AND HUMAN WASTES
In places with sanitary toilet, improper disposal of human waste is one
of the pressing problems. It causes diseases due to unsanitary habit of
disposing human waste. These diseases are intestinal parasitism, typhoid
fever, dysentery, and diarrhea.
You need to dispose human waste properly in order to:
1. prevent the spread of diseases
2. avoid unsightly condition
3. avoid foul odors
4. prevent contamination of water resources

Aside from human wastes, there are
also animals in the environment that
may spread diseases. Dogs, cats, rats,
and other animals transmit rabies.
RABIES is an infectious diseases duo
virus which is transmitted through the
infected saliva of rabid animals. Their
bites carry a great risk of tetanus also.

Insects and household pests can be controlled by destroying their
breeding places and dwellings. Cleaning and removing the breeding places
of insects, and household pests should always be done if you want to stay
safe from diseases caused by the pests. Insects and household pests spread
many serious diseases such as:

• diarrhea • influenza
• cholera • allergy
• H-fever • tuberculosis
• malaria • gastroenteritis
• parasitism

Dysentery is spread by flies and bubonic plague by rats.
