ACTION/REACTION UNDERTAKEN

• An assembly at tejeros was convened where the meeting was signed by the secretary of
Magdiwang Council and presided over the assembly in order to discuss the main topic which was
how to bolster the defenses in the areas still under the Magdiwang control.
• Mr. Montenegro spoke in defense of Mr. Severino’s stand while General Apoy was hurt by the
words of Mr. Montenegro and angrily replied his thoughts.
• Trining and Josephine pleaded with General Apoy and Mr. Montenegro and volunteered to and
held responsible for Mr. Montenegro.
• The actions of General Apoy alerted the Magdiwang troops. The leaders observed everyone and
were only waiting for the signal of General Apoy to begin shooting.
• Mr. Lumbreras, refused to resume his role as a chairman and wanted to give his position to the
supremo whom he thought to be rightful chairman.
• The election began and the newly elected officers was decided, they had a major
misunderstanding when the position of secretary came where Mr. Aguinaldo got offended by what
did Mr. Tirona said but was adjourned later on.
• A meeting was called at the same friar house in tejeros led by Pres. Aguinaldo to have a
reconciliation meeting but no one from Magdalo members came.
• The officers were officially elected were taking the oath while the troops were under strict orders
for not admitting the wrong doings they have done during the election.

• The first flush of revel victory caused the Katipunan divided into two factions which is the magdiwang and the magdalo.
• Magdiwang proceeds their election dependently while the magdalo chose the following men to administer their
government.
• The both factions agreed to make their respective armies to wear the same uniform.
• Both groups were responsible for rebel victories causing them not allowing theirselves to be under its rival’s command.
• Magdiwang and Magdalo never cooperate with each other.
• Preliminary contract with supremo caused the periodic exchange of communication between him and Magdiwang
chieftains.
• A misunderstanding was arose between the madalo leaders and bonifacio, as if bonifacio was “acting as if he were a king”.
• Bonifacio was bought by the rebel leaders to the house of Castañeda where he was visted by others.
