 Training Objectives
At the end of this training, the participants will be able to:
1. Exhibit basic knowledge on sustainable development, and how local
governments promote it through various local public administration activities,
particularly development planning
2. Exhibit basic knowledge on the functions and operations of the LDC, and the
role of CSO representatives
3. Practice communication and negotiation skills in the context of advocating CSO
policy positions and projects within the LDC
4. Prepare strategic plans for CSO intervention in local planning and development
activities of the LGU
