Argus 8 features
 One, two or three phase measurement with 4
independent voltage elements, each of which can be
set as either under or overvoltage and set for either
1 or all pole operation
 Negative phase sequence overvoltage with 2
settings
 Neutral voltage displacement with 2 settings
 4 independent frequency elements, each of which
can be set as either under or overfrequency
(AG8- 200 series only)
Independent definite time delays for each element

Argus 8 product variants

AG8-101 to 103 - 2 pole device that may be configured for single phase
under/overvoltage with direct neutral voltage displacement or 2 phase-phase
under/overvoltage with negative sequence overvoltage
AG8-104 to 112 - 3 pole device that may be configured as three phase
under/overvoltage, with negative sequence overvoltage and neutral voltage
displacement, both values being established by analysis of the 3 phase inputs.
Alternatively these relays may be configured as 2, phase-phase under/
overvoltagepoles and the third pole used for direct measurement of
neutral displacement voltage
AG8-201 to 203 - as 101 to 103 with single or 2 phase under/overfrequency
AG8-204 to 212 - as 104 to 112 with 2 or 3 phase under/overfrequency

 2 pole relay has 4 status inputs with pick-up/drop-off timers and

7 user programmable output relays

 3 pole relay has 1 status input, expandable to 5 or 9 and

18 to 60Vdc
 88 to 280Vdc, 110Vac
