The meaning of caption
Caption is brief text over or under a picture in a
book, magazine, or newspaper that describes the
picture or explains what the people in it are doing
or saying.
The purpose of caption
To help readers understand information
that may not be in the text.

● Present Tense : When writing caption text it is
recommended to use the present tense because you will

● Active Voice : In addition, it is also recommended to use
active voice because it is easier to understand than passive
voice.
● Credit : This is useful for explaining the identity of the
photographer, such as his or her name and place of work.
