The main objectives of this experiment are:
 to study the various parts of Laboratory Flotation Cell with
special emphasis on their functions,
 to perform a flotation test on a given sample,
 to determine performance of flotation cell by calculating
 Separation efficiency,
 Concentration ratio,
 Enrichment ratio,
 Recovery, and
 Ash rejection in coal.
