▸ 1. “Verbos regulares no passado terminam com -
ed, -ied ou d ao final.”

▸ 2. Para a maioria dos chamados verbos regulares,
você só precisa acrescentar “-ed”, como em:
“
▸ 3. Com verbos regulares terminados em e, basta
acrescentar o “d”:
▸ to arrive (chegar) – arrived
to like (gostar) – liked
to love (amar) – loved
▸ Simple Past (Passado Simples)

4. Agora, com verbos terminados em consoante + vogal
+ consoante, deve-se dobrar a última consoante e
acrescentar o “-ed”. Veja:

▸ 5. Com verbos terminados em “y” que tenham uma
▸
consoante antes, tiramos o “y” e acrescentamos “-
ied”. Fica assim, então:
to study (estudar)– studied
to cry (chorar) – cried
▸ Simple Past (Passado Simples)

▸ 6. E, para aqueles verbos que acabam com “y”, mas
▸
não possuem uma consoante antes, apenas
acrescentamos “-ed”.
