improvement strategies on
School Facilities, Teaching
Positions and Non-Teaching
Positions, Tools and Equipment
(by strand), Assessment and
Textbooks and Instructional
Material among others.
DepEd Order No.55, s. 2016 Policy
Guidelines for the National
Assessment of Student Learning for
the K to 12 Basic Education
Program states that assessment is
the process to measure the
learners’ status and progress in the
achievement of 21st-century skills
and learning standards.
 Goals
 Create numeracy assessment
tools
guided by the numeracy construct.
 Develop a procedural framework for
numeracy assessment system.
 Produce a research-based assessment
system for numeracy that will help the
schools in DepEd to promote better
performance in Mathematics.
 Recommend policy guidelines

establish a standard administration of
