•Chapter 6 (Beast from air) begins with an air battle during the night.
•A crew member parachutes down from his plane and dies
landing on the mountain.

they had been on Signal fire duty.

and they think it's the beast!
•Ralph tells the twins to go bring the other boys to the meeting place.

because he does not want the beast to hear it.

about what the twins have seen.

so they can be rescued.

•Jack says that the only place he has not gone is the end of the islands
where rocks are piled up.

“The Castle".
•Ralph and jack with the other big boys except piggy,
goes to the rock castle.
•if they do not find the beast there they will go up to the signal fire
and get it going again

•Ralph and jack does not find the beast.
•Jack says that the castle rock would make a great fort.
but Ralph disagrees.There is no food or shelter on the rock.
•The other boys see that there is no danger.
They run up to explore and play.
•Ralph stops them because he see there is no smoke from the signal fire.
•He tells the others they must be crazy to want to play
when there could be a rescue ship out in the ater.
•The boys complain, but finally Ralph get Jack to lead everyone
back toward the signal fire.
