BATTERY
• An electric battery, electric accumulator or simply battery or accumulator, is a device
that consists of two or more electrochemical cells that can convert stored chemical
energy into electrical current.

BREAKS
• A brake is a device used to stop or slow down a vehicle, generally an axle, drive shaft, or drum.

• TYPES OF BREAKS

Disc brakes
When you step on the pedal, a liquid is released that goes to the pistons, exerting a force on the pads.
Drum breakes
When we step on the brake, a pair of shoes activates a drum associated with each tire that produces
friction, which causes us to gradually lose speed.
Abs brakes
When we step on the brakes, the wheel speed sensors prevent the wheels from locking and
thus maintaining driving stability.

Hand brake
When we pull the lever, to which it is attached, it communicates with the device that makes the
car stop completely
AXLE
• The axles of a vehicle are the lines of transverse direction with respect to which the wheels
turn when the vehicle is moving straight ahead.
•  FUNCTION

• Axles are components of the mechanism of a vehicle. The axles maintain the relative
position of the wheels to each other and the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. In most
vehicles, the wheels are the only part that touch the ground and the axles must support the
weight of the vehicle and its additional load in this transport, together with other stresses
such as acceleration and braking forces.
ALTERNATOR
• An alternator is an electrical generator that converts mechanical energy to electrical energy in the
form of alternating current. ... In principle, any AC electrical generator can be called an alternator, but
usually the term refers to small rotating machines driven by automotive and other internal combustion
engines.

• Types:
• Car alternators.

• Diesel-electric alternators.

• Marine alternators.

• Brushless alternators.

• alternators for radio transmission with low band radiofrequency.
