What is Relationship?
• A relationship is any
connection between two
people, which can be either
positive or negative.
• While there are many different types of
relationships, the four main types are
typically identified as family
relationships, romantic relationships,
friendships, and acquaintanceships.
FAMILY RELATIONSHIP
• it means any
relationship by
blood, marriage or
adoption, not more
remote than first
cousin.
ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP
• is a feeling of love for,
or a strong attraction
towards another person
and has been
described in terms of
closeness, emotionality,
and the yearning for
intimacy.
FRIENDSHIP
• Friendship is a
relationship where
there are no
formalities and
individuals enjoy
each other's
presence.
ACQUAINTANCESHIP
• a relationship between
two people who have
met but do not know
each other well.
Healthy relationships with your
partner and family members can
enhance your life and make
everyone feel good about
themselves.
What are the benefits of
healthy relationships?
• People who have healthy relationships
are more likely to feel happier and
satisfied with their lives. They are less
likely to have physical and mental
health problems.
Healthy relationships can:

• increase your sense of worth and belonging and help you


feel less alone
• give you confidence

• support you to try out new things and learn more about
yourself
