    Tesselation

    and congruent
    joined side to
    side .
    Semi-Regular
    Tessellation

    A semi-regular
    tessellation is one
    consisting of regular
    polygons of the same
    length of side, with
    the same 'behaviour'
    at each vertex.
    Non-Regular
    Tessellation

    A non-regular
    tessellation is a
    tessellation that is
    composed of other
    shapes that may or
    may not be
    polygons.
    FREIZE PATTERN

    translation symmetry.
