-Global digital citizen means active participation in the digital world and responsible, ethical and safe use
of technology.

2) Why do we need to be global digital citizens?

-Global digital citizenship is important because it enables us to access information, communicate and
collaborate with others, empower ourselves, develop digital skills, use technology responsibly and
prepare for the future. It promotes knowledge, understanding, inclusion and positive change in a
globalized and interconnected world.

3) What are the elements of digital citizenship?

-The elements of digital citizenship can be summarized as follows:

 Digital Literacy: Having the skills and knowledge to navigate and use digital technologies
effectively and responsibly.
 Online Safety: Taking measures to protect oneself and others from online threats, such as
cyberbullying and identity theft.
 Respect and Inclusion: Treating others with respect and empathy in online interactions,
promoting inclusivity, and avoiding discrimination or hate speech.
 Digital Footprint: Being aware of the impact of our online activities and the digital trail we leave
behind, and managing our digital presence responsibly.
