Background
Describe the issue in relation to the
chosen country:
In Cambodia, more than 3.4 million people do not have
access to safe drinking water.
Only 24% have access to safe drinking water
Poor access to adequate water and sanitation
disproportionately impacts Cambodia's rural people, which
account for around 77 percent of the country's population.
We know that only 24% of Cambodians have
access to clean drinking water
