YORP Secretariat and the rest of NYC to new organizations in order to
strengthen their capacities for leadership, operations, and management

(d) Functions of Local Youth Development Office – The youth


development office shall have the following functions:

(1) In accordance with Section 24(d) of these rules, register and verify youth
and youth-serving organizations (Subject to the revitalized Youth
Organizations’ Registration Program (YORP) guidelines);

Call officers, advisers and randomly selected members

Other modes of verification which may be proposed by


the YORP Secretariat to the Commission Proper.

Once verified, the following in the local registration
shall be performed by the LYDO:

“REGISTERED” and indicate the date of registration
approval.

Organizations with deficiencies shall be notified by
the YORP Secretariat. Only after all the lacking
documents will be complied shall the registration be
approved.

Annual Submission of

All registered organizations shall submit an
annual accomplishment report and updates
on organizational information annually,
following the prescribed format online:

Renewal of Registration
Certificates are valid for three (3) years

Any organization who seeks for renewal of its


registration shall file, one month before the
expiration of its registration, the requirements
prescribed for registration.
Already registered?

registration specified therein.

(j) Manner of Election – Within forty-five (45) days after the SK elections, the LYDO or the
designated existing personnel from the local government shall notify all the presidents or authorized
representatives of the registered youth organizations or youth serving organizations in that locality,
assemble them in a public venue, and by consensus or secret balloting, they shall choose at least eight (8)
but not more than nineteen (19) representatives. These representatives shall serve for a term of three (3)
years in the LYDC.
