 Elephants are a family of mammals.
 There are three types:

1. The mammoths.
2. The Asian wild elephant.
3. The African elephant.

 Elephants are the largest land animals in the world.


 The elephant is bigger than a hippopotamus.
 The gestation period is twenty-two months.

 It is the longest gestation than other animals.

 The weight of an elephant at birth is usually 118 kg.


 They normally live from fifty to seventy years, much longer than other
land animals.

 The largest elephant weighed about 11,000 kg, and measured 3.96
meters, in Angola, 1956.
 The baby elephant is larger than an adult pig.
 The elephant's brain weighs 5kg and is the largest of all land animals.

 It is bigger than the brain of a human.


 It is one of the most intelligent animals in the world.

 Differentiates smells and sounds miles away better than humans and other
animals.

 He can eat, paint, play soccer, and feed himself.


 Elephants also have tusks, they grow in an upward curve.

 It helps them to open the way, attack, defend themselves, etc.

 Elephant tusks can weigh up to 120 kg.

 They can be taller than a person.

 They measure up to 3 meters in length, although the normal thing is that they
measure less than a meter.
 They feed almost exclusively on fruits, herbs, and tree bark.

 they can eat two hundred kilograms in a day much more than other
animals.
