 ABSTRACT:

• This project is used to manage wastage foods in a useful way .

• A Food wastage reduction is an app any user in need can see all the food items
donated by different users and add them to the cart to deliver them to the needy
person .
• This app uses the firebase database as storage and real-time database , which
makes this app more efficient and easy to use .
• The donator can create the account and whenever they are having wastage food
they can login and search for the nearby orphanages and slums where he/she has to
deliver food .
• The user’s details are maintained confidential because it maintains a separate
account for each user. This project is food redistribution is an enormously
successful social innovation that tackles food waste and food poverty.
 PROPOSED SYSTEM:

• This project is completely different from the existing system . Every user can
directly register for this app and login when user is interested for donating food
to the needy people .

• When a user wanted to donate food he/she just need to login to app and turn on
location which shows the nearby slums , orphanages and old age homes.

• They can go to the place and donate to the poor people . This project presents
“Helping hands”, a new internet-based application that provides a platform for
donating old stuff and leftover food to all the needy people/organization .

SYSTEM:
• No agents required
• No extrernal guidance or maintainance requires
• Every individual can directly access through login/registration
• Extending our app to have many types of donating users either from organizations
such as restaurants, or a family or a single user
• Adding the location facility to our apps. The donating user should specify the
location of the shared food.
 MODULE DESCRIPTION:

LOGIN & REGISTRATION:

This phase involves login & registration for every user .The user’s details are maintained
confidential by maintaining separate account for each user . every human can access for this
application .
GPS LOCATION :
This phase locates the place or area of orphanages and slums where the needy people live who
are not even having food , shelter and clothes.
RETRIEVING DATA FROM ORPHANAGES DATABASE:
In this phase we will get the details of the orphanages and slums and also the total number of
people who are living in particular orphanage . This phase is mainly required for the donar’s who
are ready for donating foods .
RECEIVER MODULE:
This phase stores the details of the donar’s of every orphanage.

 CONCLUSION:

•Our study has investigated the problem of food waste that has many serious side effects
economically and socially.

•However, the wastage of the food can be prevented or at least decreased using political rules
and technology.

• Mobile application technology is beneficial for food waste management. The app aims to
encourage better food management.

• Our proposed solution should reduce food wastage by facilitating food sharing in community
using mobile technology.

•This work is an initial step towards designing a better system to reduce daily food waste.
