Clatite is a culinary preparation obtained by baking a thin sheet of dough
made from wheat flour , eggs , milk , water and salt , usually round
in shape, filled with marmalade, jam , chocolate , sweet cheese or urda . , consumed as a dessert .

• 1 1/4 cups plain flour

• 2 eggs

• 1 pinch salt

• 1 1/2 cups of milk

• 2 tsp butter,melted,for batter

• 1 tbsp. butter,melted for cooking


Donuts (Zagarėliai)/Lietuva
• Zagareliai is a traditional Lithuanian pastry.

• 2 eggs,

 • 100 g sour cream,

 • 100 g kefir,

 • 400 g flour

• 0.5 tsp soda,

 • 2 tbsp sugar,

• a pinch of salt, 

• oil for cooking,

 • sprinkle with powdered sugar.


Vastlakukkel/Estia(Estonia)

• Vastlakukkel consist of a sweet bun filled with wiped cream.

• 2 dl milk

• 25 g yeast

• 3 tablespoon sugar

• 1 egg

• 100 g butter

• 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cardamom

• 6 dl flour

• 1 egg for coating buns


Cannoli siciliani/Italy
• 827–1091 AD

• AD=  years after jeasus Christ was born

• Many think that the first Cannoli were invented in a harem located in Qalc'at al-Niss, the 'City of Women

• Confectioners sugar (granulated is fine as well) 

• Pinch of salt

• Egg 

• Marsala wine, more if needed

• Vegetable or canola oil, for frying

• Egg, well beaten 


• Tulumba or Bamiyeh  is a deep-fried dessert found in Turkey and the regional cuisines of the former Ottoman Empire. It is
a fried batter soaked in syrup, similar to jalebis and churros. 

Ingredients
• 2 tablespoons melted margarine

• 1 glass flour

• 3 tablespoons water

• 4 eggs Tulumba/Albanian
• ½ teaspoon salt

• 1¼ glasses olive oil

• Syrup

• 2 glasses sugar

• 1¾ glasses water

• 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Kürtöskalács/Hungarian
• The Kürtöskalács, or chimney cake, is a traditional Hungarian pastry that is wrapped around a wooden spoon and slowly
turned over an open fire.

• 350 grams (2 3/4 cups) all purpose flour

• 1 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast

• 1 large egg

• 1 teaspoon table salt

• 70 grams melted butter

• 3/4 to 1 cup lukewarm milk 

• Butter for brushing the dough

• Sparkling sugar or cinnamon sugar


Molten (lava) cake/ France

• The French chef Michael Bras invented molten


chocolate cake in 1981 after 2 years of reserch.
• 100 grams Dark Chocolate
• 100 g Butter
• 150 grams Brown Sugar
• 3 Eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
• 50 grams Plain White Flour
apple ring fritters (apfelküchle)/German
• It is not completely certain when Apfelküchle were technically 'invented', however it is known that the pastry was created in south-west
Germany, in the state of Baden-Württemberg, where it has been a long-standing traditional meal.

Churros/Spain 
The origin of churros is unclear. One theory suggests the concept was brought to Europe from China by the Portuguese. The
Portuguese sailed for the Orient and as they returned from Ming-dynasty China to Portugal, they brought along with them new
culinary techniques, including altering dough for youtiao, also known as yóuzháguǐ in southern China which bears a
resemblance to the churro. 

• 1 cup (250ml) water

• 1/4 cup (56g) unsalted butter, diced into small cubes

• 1 Tbsp (13g) granulated sugar

• 1/4 tsp salt

• 1 cup (141g) all-purpose flour (scoop and level to measure)

• 1 large egg

• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

• Vegetable oil, for frying
