GROUP 5
 Production Planning is the act of developing, a
guide for the design and production of a given
product or service. Production planning helps the
production process as efficient as possible. It is a
planning on the ways and means of production to
have direction in the activities to be undertaken ny
the producer. It is the prerequisite of production
control.

OBJECTIVE OF PRODUCTION
PLANNING:
1. EFFECTIVE UTALIZATION OF RESOURCES
 Human and Non-Human resources are utilized to the fullest in the fact that they are determined beforehand.
2. ENSURE A STEADY FLOW OF PRODUCTION
 A smooth flow of production is ensured by the availability of resources for they are needed.
3. ESTIMATE THE RESOURCES
 The quantity and the quality of the resources are estimated, as a result their cost are determined and wastage is
avoided.
4. ENDSURES OPTIMUM INVENTORY
 The estimation of the quantity of resources helps keep the inventory for production purposes at a desired level.
5. COORDINATES ACTIVITIES OF DEPARTMENT
 The scheduling done during the production planning is responsible for the coordination of the department in the
activities involved.
6. MINIMIZE WASTAGE OF RAW MATERIALS
 Wastage of raw materials will be reduced to a minimum, if not zero, because only those raw materials needed in
the production are purchased or aquired.

MEDIUM
In a fine art context, “Art Medium”
refers to the art materials or artist
supplies used to create a work of art.
Basically, it’s whatever you see to
make a mark upon a surface.
Example:
pencil, ink, and chalk for drawing.
Oil, tempera, and water color for panting.
Bronze, marble, and wood for sculpting.
FORMS
OF ART
Medium refers to the materials used in
an artwork. It is the instrument of every
artist to convey message in an artistic
manner. It can be colors and brushers
for a painter; sounds for a musician;
movements of the body for an actress or
dancer; it can also be the words for every
writer; wood or clay for a sculptor.
Different form of Art:
1. PAINTING
 The expression of ideas and emotions, with the creation of certain aesthetic qualities, in
two dimensional visual language.
2. SCULPTURE
 Sculpture is the branch of the visual art that separates in three dimensions. Sculpture is
the three dimensional artwork which is physically presented in the dimensions of height,
width and depth.
3. LITERATURE
 Literature is an art form that shares stories. It is an art form of language and can be read
or spoken. The concise oxford dictionary defines literature as “writing whose value lies
in the beauty of form or emotional effect.
4. ARCHITECTURE
 The art and technique of designing and building, as distinguished from the skill associated
with construction.
5. CINEMA
 Cinema is generally a branch of art that uses dialogue, editing, the scene's layout, light,
sound, and decor by film made. A form of art which the viewer can became immersed, and
in which anything is possible.
6. MUSIC
 Art concerned with combining vocal or instrumental sounds for beauty of form or
emotional expression, usually according to cultural standard of rhythm, melody, and most
western music harmony.
7. THEATER
 Is a collaborative art form which combines, words, voice, movement and visual elements
to express meaning.
ART METHODS
Methods refers to the framework of the
production. It provides the skeletal plan
that will serves as the guide for the whole
production. It contains the objectives or
goals, material, procedures, manpower
assignment, target date of finish.
CONTENTS OF ART METHODS

1. SMART- Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time Bound


2. Title or name of Production refers to the name of productions.
3. Target Audience refers to the group that is the primary target of the production.
4. Procedures are the activities that need to be done.
5. Venue or Platform
6. Date of Implementation or Target date of Finish
ART MATERIALS
Materials refers to the artwork presented on a
production such as the script on a drama, music and
lyrics, or choreography. It is the center of the
production that consist the concept that is expressed
through art. To put it simply, it’s called the content.
EXAMPLES OF ART MATERIALS:
1. Script of a drama- script of Wednesday, Whiplash and
Iron Man 1
2. Lyrics of a music- Classical music sheet, pop song
lyrics and rap song lyrics
3. Choreography of a dance- hiphop, ballroom, modern
dance
MACHINES USED FOR CREATING ART
Machine refers to the mediums, machinery, tools, or equ
ipment to be used  in a production. On a theater production
 machines are the physical materials such as stage lighting,
 sound systems, or any technical  medium.
EXAMPLES OF MACHINES USED FOR ARTS:
1. Stage Machinery- devices designed for the production of theatrical effects, such as
rapid scene changes, lighting, sound effects, and illusions of the supernatural or
magical.
MANPOWER USED FOR CREATING ART
Manpower refers to the team of people assigned to a specific
role. It can be the director, producers, choreographers,
dancers, artist, or crew. Because of them the whole process
of creating the production can be fun and it will be easier to
accomplish.
EXAMPLE OF MANPOWER:

1. ORGANIZATION
 Manpower is one of the most critical assets in an organization. Without appropriate
manpower, the work cannot happen. Imagine a factory with no manpower. The raw
materials, inventory, finished goods nothing will move in the value chain. All these
mission critical operations require skilled manpower. If in an organization, the
number of people available are more than the work it indicates that the organization
has surplus workforce. In this type of organization, some people will remain without
work. This would be an additional cost to the organization, but sometimes
organizations keep some extra employees with them just to use them when
unexpected need arises. The manpower surplus maintained will be different in
different industries.
