PERFORMANCE

TASK
in
P.E and STATISTICS
& PROBABILITY
Each section will create four
groups consisting of 8 to 16
members. The group will play
double matches badminton and
must have the following:
a. six (6) representatives to play
the sports for three consecutive
games;
b. at least one (1) documenter;
c. one (1) referee;
d. at least one (1) scorer; and
e. at least one (1) tabulator.
GUIDELINES:
Opponents are group 1 and 3, and
group 2 and 4. Each game will be
played for less than 40 minutes

from each group will play the first
game.

b. After they reached the winning
points, the second two representatives
will then become the players for the
second game.

c. The same procedure will be done for


the third game.
GUIDELINES:
d. The documenter will take pictures
of their classmates while playing the
game and will create a documentation

e. The referee’s role is to make sure


that the game will run according to
the rule and must uphold fairness all
throughout.
GUIDELINES:
f. The scorer has the responsibility to
write the score of each opponent.

g. The tabulator will tally the score of


each group and the score on his or her
scoring paper.
GUIDELINES:
h. After the game, the students must
prepare a written output presenting the
outcomes from the first game to third
game together with the probability
distributions, and pictures of the
group members while performing their
roles.

1. A side has only one “service”.

2. The service passes consecutively to


the players as shown in the video.

3. At the beginning of the game and


when the score is even, the server serves
from the right service court. When it is
odd, the server serves from the left
court.

4. If the serving side wins a rally, the


serving side scores a point and the same
server serves again from the alternate
service court.

5. If the receiving side wins a rally, the


receiving side scores a point. The
receiving side becomes the new serving
side.

6. The players do not change their


respective service courts until they win a
point when their side is serving.
SCORING SYSTEM

1. Badminton Doubles is a match


consists of the best of 3 games of 21
points.

2. Every time there is a serve - there is a


point scored.
SCORING SYSTEM
3. The side winning a rally adds a point
to its score.

4. At 20 all, the side which gains a 2-


point lead first, wins that game.

5. The side winning a game serves first


in the next game.
