FOR TEACHERS
FEBRUARY 6 – 10, 2023
OBJECTIVES:
1. Provides basis for enabling both the school managers and
teachers to positively explore ways for improving the
performance through:
a. performance planning;
b. employee motivation and empowerment;
c. learning and development;
d. act as a two way channel for communication for
the discussion of targets and accomplishment.
2. Identify solutions for resolving issues which come in the way
of attainment of predetermined performance standards.

Group I – What are you most proud of over the last six (6)
months as a classroom teacher?
Group II – What are some strengths of yours not being
utilized?
Group III – What are the things you’re working on to

presentation of outputs, if possible, cluster similar

(School Calendar of Activities for SY 2022 – 2023)

The five-day mid-year break shall be spent for the conduct of the Midyear
Performance Review and Evaluation and the School-Based INSET. The first
two days shall be spent in evaluating the school's progress in the
implementation of the educational programs, projects, and activities, as
well as in reviewing the performance of teachers and the school staff to
address concerns through cooperative effort. The last three days shall be
devoted to the conduct of the school based INSET activities for the teachers'
continued professional development and the preparation of their Instructional
Materials.

Geared towards competency-based performance management,


professional development and career progression, the PPST-based RPMS for
teachers shall utilize all the 37 indicators of the PPST and shall be distributed
across three (3) School Years: SY 2022-2023, SY 2023 – 2024 and SY 2024 –
2025.

For SY 2022 – 2023, only two (2) classroom


observations shall be required. For SY 2023 – 2024 and SY
2024 – 2025, four (4) classroom observations shall be
required.
RPMS-PPST INDICATORS FOR PROFICIENT AND HIGHLY PROFICIENT
TEACHERS

The 37 PPST indicators for both proficient and highly proficient tools
shall be divided across three (3) School Years,
. each with a total of 15
indicators composed of Classroom Observable Indicators (COIs), Non-
Classroom Observable Indicators, and the Plus Factor.
