    This study compared students' perceived academic performance between pre-COVID in-person classes and online classes during the COVID pandemic. It surveyed 29 third year English students. Results showed students were satisfied with their performance in pre-COVID classes, with a mean rating of 3.91, compared to a moderate satisfaction rating of 3.11 for online classes. Statistical analysis revealed this difference in perceived performance between the two modalities was significant. The conclusion is that students perceived their academic performance to be better in pre-COVID in-person classes than in online classes.

    Conclusion
    Therefore, the researchers concluded upon
    creating this study that the 3rd year BSED English
    students of Tagoloan Community College were
    satisfied in their perceived academic performance
    during Pre-Covid classes than online classes.
