IMPLEMENTATION
PROCEDURE
Dismantle and Reverse Logistics
Dismantle
• Existing power system
Power system should be carefully removed and placed on newly provided equipment box
*Phased out power systems, such as “Omibra vermelho”should check with customer whether or not to
be discated

• Existing lead-acid battery

Dismantle all , disconnect lead-acid battery power cables from existing power system

Reverse logistics
• Transportation invoice issued by customer
Subcon take dismantled equipment to its own warehouse. Huawei transports equipment from subcon to TIM Warehouse.

• Transportation invoice not issued by customer

Dismantled equipment should be left on site on protected place. Customer should under all circumstances be notified.

Note: Customer should sign receipt for all dismantled material received.

Scenario 1: Material checklist

① Power system and URs according to BOQ

② Batteries and RF IDs according to BOQ
③ AC PDU, AC/DC power cables and network cables according to SSR
④ Miscelaneous such as connectors, thermo retractile, insulation tape,
etc

Standard Materials Additional Materials

Scenario 1: Cold swap outdoor cabinet (access sites)
• ① Power off battery breakers/fuses
• ② Disconect lead-accid batteries bank by bank, always
well insulating power cables; Remove batteries one by one;
• ③ Power off loads one by one, well insulating power
cables;
• ④ Power off AC breakers;
• ⑤ Remove URs and store separetly. Remove existing
power system from rack and store accordingly;
Scenario 1: Cold swap outdoor cabinet (access sites)
• ① Install and energize AC PDU (or reuse);
• ② Mount power system on rack, install URs, connect to
AC PDU and power on system;
• ③ Reconect loads one by one, powering on right after;
• ④ Install first battery;

① Migrate B power input
of equipments to suitable
breaker on 2nd PS
② For equipments with
simple power input, request
customer authorization to
temporarily power off
equipment during migration
③ Raise 2nd PS voltage
higher (0.2v) than swapped
