Introduction

 A fitness club is a place with exercise facilities. It is a


setting with exercise equipment for the purpose of
physical exercise.
 Regular physical activity and the proper nutrition are
two major determinants of a healthy lifestyle.
 Quitting is currently the major problem of the fitness
industry.
Objectives

 To identify the effect of hygiene in perception towards fitness


clubs.
 To determine the effect of security and safety in perception
towards fitness clubs.
 To analyze the effect of affordability in perception towards
fitness clubs.
 To examine the effect of infrastructure in perception towards
fitness clubs.
 To identify the effect of membership privileges in perception
towards fitness clubs.
Significance of the Study

 Researchers will precede this work with primary this


work with primary data which will help them in covering
the subject area in a more diversified way.

 This research can be used for further research purpose


on topic related to fitness clubs.

 It will help fitness and gym businesses to understand the


customer perception regarding fitness clubs.

Research Methodology

 Population- Members enrolled in 3 different fitness clubs in


Kumaripati namely The Physique Workshop, Kumaripati
Fitness Center and Titan Gym and Fitness.
 Population Size- 60 respondents
 Sampling Procedure-Convenience sampling
 Sampling Area- 3 fitness clubs located in Kumaripati, Lalitpur
 Data Gathering Procedure- Primary data :questionnaire
survey & Secondary data : literature, journals articles and
websites.
Limitations

 The study is only limited to 3 fitness clubs of


Kumaripati. Hence, it does not incorporate wide
geographical character of the respondents.
 The study is based on primary source of data regarding
the people’s perception. Therefore, the reliability of
conclusions of the study depends upon the accuracy of
the information provided by the respondents.
 The purposive sampling is conducted so the results may
be biased.
Conclusion

 Hygienic and maintained environment must be provided be the


fitness clubs

 Price is an important factor for consumer purchase behavior. Thus,


fitness club should establish a reasonable price control mechanism,
according to the actual needs of different consumer group.

 In order to change consumers’ attitudes and influence their consumer


behavior fitness club must have sufficient communication with
consumer. More privacy, separate gender rooms and personal
trainers should be considered by fitness clubs.
