ANALYSIS AND SUGGESTIONS
 1) Low Customer Turnout

 If you’re struggling to bring people in, these are a few things you can do:

 Reach out to previous customers:

• If a membership is cancelled this, doesn’t mean the customer left on bad terms.
After a period of time has passed consider Reaching out to previous customers
who left because of increased financial or life stressors. You can inform them of a
special promotion or discount that might result in a renewed membership.
 Offer seminars:

• Seminars can be a member only event but advertise your seminar schedule so
potential customers can see the benefits of the gym over competitors or encourage
members to bring a friend, who might turn into a member too.
CONT’D
 2) Difficulty Retaining Memberships

Retaining members is key to ensuring the long term survival of the

gym. Here are the ways….

 Switch to the technical side: As there is still a pandemic occurring, we can’t neglect
safety. Members safety and wellbeing should be priority all time. Similarly, arrangements
of online classes that are integrated with the membership plan.

 Personalize their gym experience: Take time to try and gather as much information as
possible from members and use it to communicate with them. For instance, can share
them happy birthday mails.
CONT’D
 3) Members Using Equipment Without Permission or Proper Training

 New tools and techniques feel fancy and flashy, but it’s important to put our
feet on the ground with some fundamentals.

 To combat this problem gym owner can do following require waiver to

sign

 The member should acknowledge in this waiver that there are dangers
associated with using the equipment and that they will not hold the gym
liable for any injuries.

• Limit access to certain areas or equipment’s.

CONT’D
• 4 ) Avoiding injuries while exercising
• Tips for preventing injuries during exercise.
• Take time for proper warm up.
• Learn proper technique
• Listen to your body (If something hurts, stop. Pain
is not gain; pain is a sign that you are doing
something wrong body isn’t ready for yet.)
• Put up warning signs for potential Perils.
CONT’D
 5) . High Operating Costs

• It’s likely that the gym has significant running cost and can lower gym’s
operational expenses and keep it running smoothly for years to come if you're
prepared to put in the effort.
 Cut Down on Unnecessary Expenses:

• Look closely at your spending plan to identify areas where you may make
savings. Perhaps your advertising budget might be reduced, or you could
bargain with your suppliers for lower prices.
CONT’D
 6) . Negative Online Reviews

 The best ways to fix this common gym problem:

 Reach Out to Unhappy Customers and Resolve Their Issues

• The first thing you should do is get in touch with customers who have
written unfavourable reviews and work to make things right. They could
be willing to amend their review if you can make them happy.

 Encourage Happy Customers to Leave Positive Reviews

• Encourage your satisfied consumers to post positive reviews as your

third option. This will lessen the impact of any unfavourable
testimonials and increase the likelihood that new members will join
your gym.
CONT’D

 7) Facing the competition

 The solution for facing the competition can be the following:

• Maintain excellent customer service

• Have a unique mission statement, brand and logo

• Keep consistent social media marketing

• Have new initiatives and offers for customers

• Evaluate your competitors

CONT’D

 8) Covid World

• During pandemic the scenario was very critical and it was very difficult to
run and operate the gym but still they have maintained all the covid
guidelines and reopened the gym with the safety precaution there only 30
to 35 members allowed in one-hour session with mass on and the premises
was also being sanitized after every session and some of the activates like
yoga, Zumba, dances and all were carried out on the online platform.
FUTURE RECOMMENDATIONS

1.Female trainer
 There is no female trainer available now at present so we recommended
that there must be a female trainer also in the gym.

2. To enlarge the chain on national level.

 To enlarge the gym on the nation level to open the branches on the
different states of the nation

3. Make collaboration with societies.

 To make the society aware of the health issues and to motivate them with
to get fit as “Fitness is necessary for the happy living.”
CONCLUSIONS
 Itis always an inspiration to build a valued
product that can influence the daily life of the
people who use it. The most crucial part is a
clear idea and plan for development. Developing
an inclusive application takes less time when the
whole flow is structured and finalized.
