The benefits of Mathematics to our

Brain
Did you know?
Our Brain functions just like our Muscle. The more you exercise,
The more you gain strength. This also implies to our Brain. The
more you exercise, The more you gain Intelligence.
Mathematics

 Mathematics build skills in concrete reasoning, logical reasoning,

spatial reasoning, and critical thinking. It sharpens one's mind
and helps to eliminate blurred thinking, which in turn results
in better problem solving and creative thinking.

 Mathematics enhances analytical thinking and problem-solving

skills, fosters systematic and logical thinking, and broadens the
mind to handle unfamiliar task/s with confidence, among other
benefits.
Mathematics

We encounter numerous daily activities that involves Mathematics

such as Counting, Budgeting Money, Telling Time, Cooking or
Baking, and even Exercising.
Analyzing the Graph of the Function (QF) of
‘Mathematics’

Given the table of values, we’re going to solve for the graph of this
function regarding the daily activities that involves Mathematics.

The Domain will be the numbers of daily activities that involves

Mathematics that we averagely encounter.

The Range will be the value of the outcome of the daily activities that
involves Mathematics.
Analyzing the Graph of Function (QF) of
‘Mathematics’
Table of values:
X -2 -1 0 1 2
Y 2 0 0 2 6

y = x^2 + x
x = -2 x = -1 x=0
y = (-2)^2 + (-2) y = (-1)^2 + (-1) y = (0)^2 + (0)
y=4-2 y=1-1 y=0+0
y=2 y=0 y=0
x=1 x=2
y = (1)^2 + (1) y = (2)^2 + (2)
y=1+1 y=4+2
y=2 y=6
The Graph of Function (QF) of ‘Mathematics’
X -2 -1 0 1 2
Y 2 0 0 2 6

y = x^2 + x

Opening: Upward
Minimum Point: (-1,0)(0,0)
Vertex: (o,0)
Finding the Vertex Form of the Function (QF)
QF: y = x^2 + x
A=1
B=1
H = b/2a K = 4ac – b^2/4a
C=O
H = 1/2(1) K = 4(1)(0) – (1)^2/4(1)
H=½ K = -¼
H=½
K = -¼

y = a(x – h)^2 + k
y = 1( x – (½ ))^2 + (-¼)
VF: y = (x – ½)^2 – ¼
In conclusion, by doing Mathematics we will be
able to improvise our intelligence. Therefore, if you
wanted to became bright then do challenging
Mathematics.
