SCIENCE: LIGHT AND SHADOW
GRADE 2
 INTRODUCTION
On our previous lesson, we were speaking about
the light and its sources.
We said that light is a form of energy that allows
us to see things with our eyes.
Then we also said that sources of light are the
things that produces light for example sun, lamp,
touch, flame and stars.

.The other secret on light is that it
travels in straight lines.
 LIGHT AND SHADOW
Light travels in straight lines
When light reaches an object, it can travel through the
object if the object is transparent.
When an object blocks the light's path, then darkness
appears on the other side. This darkness is called a
shadow.
Examples
In Conclusion
The sun is a source of light that when
hits an object causes shadows.
 Work to do
Take an A4 paper, any object that you like for
example cup or bottle drink and any light source
either you use touch or sun as your light source.
Put the paper on a flat surface and put your object on a
point that it will block the light.
Take a photo on the object and paper so that i will
see the shadow on the paper
Make a drawing on the shadow and take a
photo before removing anything.
