Work Immersion - is a key feature in the senior high school curriculum which involves hands-on

experience or work simulation in which students can apply their competencies and acquired
knowledge relevant to their track.

Importance :

1.To better equip senior high school students for college


2.To become familiar with the workplace
3. To simulate employment, and to apply their competencies in areas of specialization or applied

subjects in actual work environment

4. To have attitudes, appreciation and respect for work.

5. To allow them to have a smooth transition from school to work after they gain valuable

Ethics - is concerned with human conduct, more specifically the behavior of individuals in
society.

Work ethics - is a personal set of values and standards for acceptable behaviors in the

workplace
- directly influences how someone approaches their daily tasks, as they are driven
by the passion and enjoyment they have for their work.
Employees with strong work ethics are highly motivated and produce consistently high-quality
results.

Personable - means you are friendly, approachable and agreeable.
Someone who is personable is easy to get along with and is
not arrogant or easy to offend.

2. ACCOUNTABILITY - it is an acknowledgmentt of responsibility for actions, decisions,


and products. It's the ability to take initiative, and maintain
effective work habits (prioritize, plan and manage work;
punctuality) to produce high-quality results.

Pay attention to the details- it ensures accurate and high quality of work.
It means accepting the responsibility and make the best output.

Acknowledge and fix your mistakes – accountability means


acknowledging and fixing your mistakes. It is easy to pass the blame on
someone else but accountability means accepting responsibility for your
errors and taking the appropriate actions. Mistakes are a necessary part of
the learning process. When you can approach your errors as an opportunity
for growth, you can move from blame to accountability.
Examples of Accountability in the Workplace

Help your co-workers. you can offer to stay late with a colleague to help
them finish that last-minute project or take over a coworker's tasks while
they're off sick for the day. Helping after completing your own
responsibilities shows collaboration, empathy, and accountability for the
team's success.

Develop a proactive approach. Developing a proactive approach involves


thinking ahead to anticipate issues. Thinking proactively allows you to
create practical solutions to minimize or eliminate potential problems.
Examples of Accountability in the Workplace

Show up as a leader. Showing up as a leader regardless of your position


shows responsibility for your team and organization. Leadership also means
developing initiative in the workplace.

Stand up for what is right. Standing up for what's right in the workplace is a
sign of accountability. Being accountable to yourself and those you work
with means sharing your opinions and working to find a solution when
something isn't right. For example, this can include standing up against
bullying in the workplace, encouraging inclusion and diversity, or identifying
unethical behavior.

Be willing to accept criticism. Being accountable means being willing to take


constructive criticism. Criticism and feedback can come from managers,
colleagues, customers, or those under your direction. Responsibility requires
you to be coachable, acknowledging that you don't know everything.

Accepting feedback can help you focus on areas where you can improve,
whether technical skills or personality characteristics. Being coachable also
means you listen to those around you and appreciate their insights and
opinions.
