Curriculum?
CURRICULUM
• is a formal education, it is a
planned interaction of pupils
with instructional content,
materials, resources, and
processes for evaluating the
attainment of educational
objectives.
• It is the Sum total of the learning experiences
and activities done in the school. It can also be
the compilation of lessons and activities that
should be done in a period of time.

• Having a good curriculum


will assure that students
will learn and gain a quality
education.
The Philippines has a national
curriculum developed by the
Department of Education.
Schools in the Philippines are
divided into Kindergarten,
Elementary, Secondary and
Senior High.

As its name, a traditional curriculum
consists of techniques that are in line with
the old ways of teaching. It is what most of
us had experienced during our education
where we sit inside a classroom and feed
off from what a teacher communicates.
Lectures, use of educational materials,
recitations, and homework are part of the
standard systems.
