Introduction
An earthquake is a sudden movement of the Earth produced by
the unexpected release of tension that has built up over time. Plate
tectonic forces have sculpted the Earth for hundreds of millions of
years as the massive plates that make up the Earth's crust gently
move over, beneath, and past each other.

Pendulum Seismometers are among the oldest forms of

instruments employed to record earthquake motion upon a stationary
plate. They work by automatically swaying counter to the motion
created by the earthquake.

2
Purpose of the Device
The device is adapted to the pendulum seismometer that can
detect earthquakes. The project will be use in a building or a
facility so the purpose of the device is:

1) To develop a more accurate definition of an earthquake

and its causes.
2) To make people aware immediately in case there is an
earthquake.
3) To make it easier for people to see the exit of a facility.

Summary of Findings
[Bangay] The results of the study are intended to determine if the prototype works and it
was found to work and can be improved by others to place in the buildings. As we can
see, all the components are working, the LED lights are on, the buzzer is also working
when we are going to shake the prototype.

[Garcia] This study was made to show the importance having a earthquake alarm and
to avoid people in accident. All in all the prototype are working and all the components
was tested before it run and also check if their is an error in the circuits.

[Ramos] The project's outcomes were to create an earthquake device concept that
would aid in the development of a more accurate definition of an earthquake and its
causes, alert people immediately in the event of an earthquake, and make it easier for
people to see the exit of a facility, and these objectives were achieved with the help of the
project.

[Silvestre] The prototype is working, and the components used are in good condition,
this prototype is derived from a pendulum seismometer whose purpose is to determine if
an earthquake has occurred, and the prototype has achieved its goal. 8
Conclusion

In conclusion, The group

encountered errors such as some
of the extra lights did not work and
in wirings. Fortunately, the group
was able to manage and
successfully finish the experiment,
and the objective of the prototype
was achieved.
