I. RATIONALE

In consideration of the changes brought about by the pandemic on how

learning and other educational programs will be delivered for SY 2020-
2021, DepEd through the BLSS-SHD continues to implement School
Based Feeding Program (SBFP) nationwide in accordance with the
General Appropriations Act (GAA) for the FY 2020 and in compliance with
Republic Act No. 11037 “Masustansyang Pagkain para sa Batang Pilipino
Act”.
