Mandatory

• 6 approved assignments: 4 essays + 2 dictations


Essays will be handed in on Blackboard.
You will learn…
• Vocabulary (very important to start learning the new words right away - and
repeat every day)

• Grammar (each chapter contains new grammar)

• Pronunciation (we will work in class with speaking and listening)

• How to read, speak and understand written and spoken basic Norwegian
(equivalent to level A2 in the Common European Framework of Reference
for Languages (CEFR)).
Classes
• The texts in Norsk på 1-2-3 make up the basis for the teaching in class.
• We will work regularly with exercises regarding vocabulary, grammar
and pronounciation together and in groups + at home.
• You will use the book (texts and exercises) + extra learning material given
by the teacher.
Homework
• You will be expected to come prepared for class.
• I will upload homework on Blackboard after each session, and we will
go through the homework exercises together the next session.
• The day-to-day homework comes in addition to the 6 mandatory
written assignments.
Exams

• Dictation (listening to writing) after the written exam.

• Essay: 200 words (no dictionaries or other conversation with your teacher

• Always bring the book to class – we will use it every session.

• The book has 10 chapters, each one focusing on a few specific


topics, with some variations and extensions in each text.
• The book contains texts for reading, rules of grammar and
