sentences to understand their use in a sentence.

Lesson 2

dictée: J’ai… qui a, à la pêche, bataille navale, trouve quelqu’un qui, etc.

HOMEWORK= play games to revise vocabulary and dictation words

Lesson 3 (this may take up to two lessons)

• The teacher will show students an example of the project “Au village des courges” on Chatterpix and will show them the text that goes with it. Students
will start planning the daily routine of their squash (worksheet). They will have access to the vocabulary lists, French dictionaries and 2 new word lists (1 &

HOMEWORK = buy a small squash

Lesson 4 (this may take up to three lessons)

• Students will write the final copy of their squash’s daily routine. Students that finish early can start decorating their squash using glue guns and material
provided (popsicle sticks, feathers, googly eyes, pompoms, etc.). They will also draw a mouth with a sharpie.
• When students have finished decorating their squash, they will use the app Chatterpix on iPads to take a picture of their squash and record themselves
saying its daily routine. They do not have to read the entire text as the app can only record for 30 seconds.
• The projects will be downloaded by the teacher.
Lesson 5 (this may take up to two lessons)

• Using the checklist and their vocabulary words, students will write a text about their own daily routine in their French Notebook. This text will be corrected
by the teacher and edited by students according to the feedback given.

HOMEWORK = Take pictures of yourself doing your daily routine (photos must match the text)

Lesson 6 (this may take up to three lessons)
