TREATMENT
• Pain relievers that we can get without a
prescription such as Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB,
others) and acetaminophen (Tylenol, others)
• A cold or warm cloth for swollen salivary glands
• A cloth or ice pack for swollen
testicles
• Drinking plenty of fluids
• Rest
The average incubation for mumps is 16 to 18 DAYS,
with a range of 12 to 25 DAYS
