INTRODUCTION

 Kiichiro Toyoda started it and incorporated it on August 28, 1937. Toyota is a


multinational automotive manufacturer with headquarters in Toyota City, Aichi and
is among the world's major automakers, producing over 10 million automobiles
every year.
TOYOTA INDIA

 Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) was established in India in 1997 as a joint venture
between Toyota Motor Corporation Japan and Kirloskar Systems Limited. TKM is
inspired by Toyota's leadership in the global automotive scene and continuously
strives to develop its heritage.
 Toyota's efforts are focused on making a difference in society by manufacturing
"ever better automobiles," and we are dedicated to playing a role in resolving
difficulties in the areas in which we operate. This idea is inspired by their founder,
Kiichiro Toyoda, who has always wished for people's happiness.
 As a result, its basic principle of Monozukuri, which translates to sustainable
growth in balance with nature, solves the root issue.
VISION & MISSION

 Toyota's drive to build a sustainable future by focusing on improving the livelihood of

communities in harmony with nature. To be the most admired company in India is their aim, and

Toyota strives to create a positive impact in the world we live in.

 Toyota achieves its CSR objectives by adopting one of the following pathways:

 Direct programme implementation

 Collaborating with implementation partners for programme execution

 Making direct contributions to any Schedule VII Fund, set up by the Government, as it may deem

suitable.

 Toyota’s CSR policies have evolved to the stage that focuses on the emerging challenges faced by the people.

The dedication taken by Toyota can be seen from the achievements over the last 25 years and still working for

the progress of society. Toyota automobiles are known for their higher reliability and it is due to their strict

well-structured working environment, discipline, and good management are again shown in Toyota’s CSR

activities through their achievements. Toyota focuses more on function over form, which means Toyota CSR

focuses more on results that develop the livelihood of the community than the benefits that bring them.
