● Aim: In this unit, you will investigate the features
and uses of websites by exploring what they are
and how their integrated components and
applications interact with each other. You will also
learn how to design, develop and test a website
for a brief. Once this is completed you will review
your website, having obtained feedback from
others.

Activity 2
Having been given one of the subject areas by your tutor, and
informed of your pairings, find a suitable website (or use one
of the suggested sites) that demonstrates that particular use
of the website (eg e-commerce) and identify the features
used within the website that make it successful in it’s
intended usage (eg a sales page, clear layout and images,
online forums, embedded video etc).

Create a short Google presentation and present it to the group.


(2-3 mins).
You need to:
● Describe the site and how it achieves its purpose.
● Give the areas/features of the site that you think work well.
● Give the areas/features that you think could be improved
upon.
