Cosmic Microwave

Background
Melisa García Martínez
What is it?

• CMB is the leftover radiation from around 400,000 years after

the Big Bang and we can find it everywhere.
• It is the farthest and oldest light any telescope can detect
because it has a wavelength of around 2 mm, which is around
4000 times longer than the wavelength of the visible light.
How is it related to my topic?
• The Cosmic Microwave Background proves the Big Bang theory.

to form, it made the cosmos transparent.
