CONCRETE TOPPING

SCOPE OF WORK
• The purpose of this work statement for the
concrete topping is to outline and describe in
detail the safe procedure of concrete topping
which includes layout, delivery/handling,
application of grout mixture, mixed
concrete/mortar, and other related works to
complete the scope.

**PRIOR TO START CONCRETE TOPPING
ACTIVITY**
- All workers must undergo work activity training
(WAT) prior to mobilization
- Secure material transmittal form per delivery

- Secure Materials Inspection Request to QA for AQL

- Secure permits prior to concrete topping

e) For diluted mix grout, prepare
material of 1:1 mix ratio of cement
and adhesive or adhesive only.

• Before concrete topping, apply first diluted

• Before the grout dries up, the mixed concrete
is placed.
• The topping concrete should be spread
evenly, compacted, screeded and bull floated
using steel trowel

little then splatter pure cement. Use
steel trowel for finishing.
