SDP MODULE 1: SELF-AWARENESS
WHO AM I?
Direction:
Write something about yourself - your personal strengths and weaknesses;
your core beliefs about life; and your dreams and fears in life. (150 words)
I'm Angeline Joy A. Ancheta, born on July 9, 2003, and was known for being a crybaby. As a child, I was forced to be mature by my environment. I may be a known
crybaby when I was a baby, but at a young age, I learned to handle my emotions and to observe my surroundings. I am not a good communicator, and I stutter a lot
when I talk, but I can communicate enough to have leadership skills. I am also a little introverted, but I sure make a lot of friends. I like challenging myself, thinking, I will
improve. I dreamt to be a surgeon but ended up pursuing to be an accountant lawyer. I believe that everyone has a story to tell, and every story has a happy ending.
So, in life, as long as I'm not happy it's not yet the ending of my story.

Filipinos have suffered a lot of challenges it may be storms, earthquakes, terrorist attacks, or a government problem. Even
they are going through these challenges you would see them smiling and trying their best to get back at their feet again. As a
Filipino, I have witnessed this and experienced it. I may not have suffered from natural disasters, but I suffered from life challenges
too. I may say that as Filipino, we don't just let a challenge break us or bring us down. As long as we can, we find ways to solve the
problem, and we seem to be optimistic in the process.
When I was in elementary, I have an acting workshop. One day when I and my mom were on the way to the workshop, we
have been informed that there was a fire spreading on our street. We stayed calm at that time and continue to go to the workshop,
and told our neighbors to keep us updated. Later that day, we home and saw where the fire stopped in our street. It stopped 6
houses from our house. I saw my neighbors talking about the fire but instead of seeing devastated faces, I saw happy faces. They
were laughing as they help the others to move their belongings. Fortunately, no one died or was injured because the whole
neighborhood helped to kill the fire. After 3 months everything was fine in our neighborhood, it seemed like no fire had happened.
My neighborhood's ability to get back at their feet, smile, and laugh about what happened shows that Filipinos are indeed resilient.
Reflection Paper
How do this value help you develop as a student of T.I.P.?
- I think resilience will help to develop as a student by it helping me to see the beauty in
every situations that is happening around me. Resilience will help me to believe that after a
disaster there will always be light that will guide me to get back up again.
