CRICKET CASE:

 Data set is related to Indian premier league season 4.

 Data set contains 40 variables and 129 observations.
 The variables are nationality, ipl team name, player cost in usd,
matches played etc.
 The key variables are highest score, bowling performances, batting
avg. strike rate.
Summary tables:
 1st summary table:
 We have made table to segregate the players as per their international teams.

 Similarly we made few more summary tables to discuss details about ipl teams.
Charts:

 Pie chart shows graphical representation of distribution of players as

per their national teams.
 Maximum players are from India followed by Australia.
 Netherland & Bangladesh has lowest player count with 1 player
each.
Following 2d clustered column chart shows:
 Count of players for each franchise
 Total count of star batsman
 Count of foreign players
 Chennai has selected maximum players where as Rajasthan selected
the least.
BOWLING PERFORMANCE:
 DECCAN CHARGERS & BANGALORE TEAMS HAVE
HIGHEST COUNT OF STAR BOWLERS OF 3,
 WHERE AS CHENNAI & KOLKATA TEAM DON’T HAVE ANY
STAR BOWLER.
 IN TERMS OF BOWLING PERFORMANCE, BANGALORE
TEAM HAS LOWEST BOWLING AVERAGE WHERE AS
MUMBAI INDIANS HAVE HIGHEST.
OVERALL TEAM PERFORMANCE:
 Mumbai Indians has strongest batting line up with highest strike rate & average.
 But their bowling is very poor due to higher bowling average & eonomy.
 King XI Punjab has strongest bowling with low economy of 7.11, 45+ wickets taken in
average by bowlers & bowling average of 19.
Conclusion:
 based on given data we can conclude that:
 Chennai has purchased maximum player in team with star batsmen & foreign players.
 Where as Rajasthan purchased lowest no. of players.
 Mumbai Indians has strongest batting line up but poor bowling side.
 King XI Punjab has strongest bowling lineup.
 In terms of overall balance, Delhi daredevils are strongest due to 2 nd best batting
performance & low bowling avg of 17.33.
