 What is IPL?
 The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a professional men's Twenty20 cricket league, contested by ten teams based out of
ten Indian cities. The league was founded by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007.

 The brand value of the IPL in 2019 was ₹47,500 crore.

 It sees a participation from both national and international players.

 There are 8 teams representing 8 different Indian Cities.

Datasets and treatment of data:
We were given two datasets:
1. “deliveries.csv”
2. “matches.csv”

Deliveries.csv contained Match related information, player information and delivery information.
Matches.csv contained information regarding the Teams involved, Results and the Match Specific.

To create the dashboards, I did a inner join using “id” and “match_id” from the files respectively on Tableau.
 MATCH STATISTICS
In this dashboard, I’ve added the following visualisations:

• Toss outcome vs Match outcome (for each Ground/Venue)

• Biggest wins (by runs and by wicket)
• Highest totals (across all the seasons)

From the visualisation on
the left we can come to a
conclusion that by far RCB
has got the biggest wins in
terms of Runs and they
feature 3 times in the top
ten followed by Mumbai
Indians at 2 times.

From this visualisation we can tell that Kings
11 Punjab has been the most successful in
terms of wins by wickets. They have Won a
whopping 2095 times with 7 wickets in Hand
followed by Kolkata Night Riders at 2062
times.

 SUMMARY
 Royal Challengers Bangalore has scored highest runs across
seasons.
 Suresh Raina has got the highest number of orange caps across
seasons.
 Lasith Malinga has got the highest number of purple caps across
the seasons.
 Gautam Gambhir has the highest number of furs followed by
Suresh Raina and David Warner.
 Chris Gayle has the highest number of sixes and has hit 266.While
Indian player Suresh Raina has the highest number of sixes at 174.
 As a team Royal Challengers Bangalore has hit the highest amount
of sixes.
 We observe that Kings 11 Punjab has been the most successful in terms of wins
by wickets.
 We observe that Mumbai Indians have won more number of, All the Matches in
a single season(4), and the second highest wins is by Chennai Super Kings(3).
 Top 3 batsmans of IPL across all Seasons are:
1. S.Raina.(CSK)
2. V.Kohli.(RCB)
3. R.Sharma.(MI)
 Top 3 bowlers of IPL across all Seasons are:
1. SL.Malinga(MI)
2. A.Mishra(DD)
3. DJ Bravo(CSK)
 From the visualisation on the left we can come to a conclusion that by far RCB
