Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda.

He was born on 19th day of July,


year 1861 in Calamba, Laguna and
died on 30th day of December, year
1896 at the age of 35.

Dear Mrs. Mary Jane Laguna,

I must admit that this semester is a tough one for you


and the class where I belong. Although at first, we are
unable to establish a strong connection because of some
misunderstandings and our emotions were so strong that
time, which I am sincerely sorry for, you still chose to
impart to us the knowledge you have about one of the
Philippine National Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal.
I am so proud and thankful that you are our teacher in
this subject unit because I am able to understand the life,
works, and writings of Dr. Jose P. Rizal which greatly
contributed to the freedom that we are currently
enjoying. It brought me to appreciate more the hardships

forward of having more of in-depth discussions of
lessons we still haven’t knew about Rizal. Also, I would
