- They use a mode of transaction called the Point System Transaction – an app that
makes an account user’s name and password and allocate time by paying the exact
amount by the player.

communicating?

- They use computers, social networking, online collaboration, and smartphones to


communicate with each other.

3. What other medium do they use in their daily transactions?

- The types of medium that they use in their daily transactions are the Face-to-face
communication, Written communication, Social media communication, and non-
verbal communications. They use social media apps, text messages, emails, phone
calls and other kinds of gestures to establish a connection between the employees
and the customers.

- They experience players satisfied while playing and being able to give a pleasant
day for them while they are in their establishment after a tiring day.

5. What challenging situation/problems as far as the use of language in


communicating do they have encountered?

- They experienced different kinds of encounters which is not their native language
such as customers from Mormons which most of them speaks English and

- They always stay calm and ask politely on what they need in their
establishment and stay patient. Adjustment is the key.

- They use their native language (Tagalog/Bicol) words to communicate with
their players and engage in casual conversations to them.

expression were utilized by the personnel during communicative
situations?
- They use a casual type of verbal expression as their players are regulars in
their establishment. They also discipline their employees in a direct and
respectful manner of expression to be utilized in their daily communication
towards their players.

9. What are the existing rules and policies related to communications?


- The policies in their establishment is that players are not allowed to smoke
inside the vicinity, no shouting cursed words and no stealing towards one
another because they always say to their players that they have a CCTV
camera inside and outside of the establishment in order to maintain a safe
environment to their customers.
