ORIENTATION

The thief was made in 2017 by XII EXACT 1 students. They made this film
to complete assignments from English subject teacher as their final assignment in
senior high school 1 maros.
INTERPRETATIVE RECOUNT
In this movie, Luke's character is depicted with a caring figure for his friends.
Chuck is described with a stubborn figure. Alan is described with a kind and helpful spirit.
Ms. Eleanor as a person who only cares about herself. Simon as the one who mediates his
friends in the event of arguments. And Max is the guy who always helps his friends.

The movie began with the formation of a detectives team by Ms. Elanor (Fitria
Anggareni) as the headmaster to prevent a theft case at senior high school 1 maros. This
team consists of Simon (Muh. Ikhlasul Amal), Chuck (Ahmad Fauzan), and Luke
(Yudhistira Ardhie). They hated each other at first because they did not want to join the
team and considered this to be unimportant. But everything changes when the thief start
his action.
They began working together to find the thief and figure out how to solve this
problem. Max and Alan, also friends of theirs, helped to solve the theft. Because of not
finding any clue, Luke was threatened by the headmaster. If not finding the thief as soon as
possible, the headmaster would do something to his friends. Finally, Luke got his friends to
come up with a plan to find out and catch the thief.

At night, they unless Alan installed hidden cameras in the rooms in the school. In the
morning they ran all the footage from the hidden cameras they had installed and they didn't
find anything. Luckily, Luke has installed a hidden camera in the headmaster's room so
they can find out who the thief is.

Looking at the hidden camera footage, they were surprised to find out that the thief
they were looking for was Alan. Alan stole because he needed a lot of money to pay for his
parents' hospital. Luke, who didn't believe what was happening, began searching for the
truth with Alan and discovered the fact that the headmaster was also involved in a crime.
Eventually, chuck, Alan, Simon, Max, and Luke worked together to solve a case involving
the headmaster.
EVALUATION
In this movie has some strengths and weaknesses. For his own
weakness, the first one was that this film did not include subtittle, so
that if there is an obscure voice we cannot know what they are saying.
Second, their character rationalizing was still not good in the beginning.
And the third, in some parts the sound was not heard because of the
sound of the vehicle. For the strength of the movie are, the first is an
excellent camera transition. Second, the clarity of the image in this
movie very good. Third, the character rationalizing at the end was very
good. We recommend to add subtittle in this movie so that if there's an
indistinct voice we can figure out what they're saying by reading the
inherent subtittle.
EVALUATIVE SUMMATION
We appreciated this movie so much, it was very good from the English pronunciation of the stars,
excellent acting and getting into character, the quality of the video presented clear, and a good teamwork.
Even though the movie was about crime but the stars still weave some jokes inside whether it's deliberate or
not, the creation of a joke makes the movie less uptight. We strongly recommend this movie to audiences
who like criminal movies but do not particularly like tension.

In conclusion, the moral message that we can take from this movie is that if we need something we
have to try our best and do it the right way instead of the wrong way so that we can get it quickly. We can
also ask for help from those around us like our friends at school. We must not become “wolves in sheep's
clothing” just to cover our crimes.
