INTRODUCTION
 Pregnant at Teenage: Advocacy for Adolescents brighter tomorrow is an advocacy that will give
knowledge to teenagers specially the students about the consequences of pre – marital sex and teenage
pregnancy. And this will serve as their guidance to walk on the right path to their success.

Our main goal here is to encourage the youth to focus on their goals and career in life for their future
To increase community’ s knowledge and spread awareness of teenage pregnancies.
Empowering the youth with mentoring and in education as well.
To reduce the rates of pregnancies and births to youth.
Reduce incidence of pre – marital sex
To give knowledge about using contraceptives or birth control.
To view their sexuality in a positive and negative way
To give the youth to practice communication and decision – making skills in relation to sexuality and
to other issues.
 To provide information about sexuality, including contraception, and STD
PURPOSE
 This advocacy is worth it to support, it will enhance the
youth decision – making skills and life planning. This can
be also a big help to reduce incidence of pre – marital sex
and teenage pregnancy cases in our country, by joining or
participating in the demonstrations, lectures, seminars and
trainings to be administered by the advocates and invited
speakers.
DESCRIPTION
 This will gather all secondary students, and conduct inside the school. Demos, lectures, and
trainings will be conducted. The advocacy will be happening in VNHSW School Quadrangle,
Paratong Vigan City of January 2023 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.
 The participants will be given free snacks. Notebooks, ballpens, pencils and papers will also
be given to the participants during the lecture.

 The topics to be included on the seminar will be:

 PROPER USE OF CONTRACEPTIVES OR BIRTH CONTROL
KNOWLEDGE ON PRE – MARITAL SEX
CONSEQUENCES OF PRE – MARITAL SEX AND TEENAGE PREGNANCIES
HOW TO PREVENT TEENAGE PREGANANCY
OTHERS
