Cognates are words in Spanish that look and sound like English words. Most of the
time, they mean exactly what you think they do. But, sometimes, we have what we
call “false friends,” which are cognates that don’t mean the obvious. Spend some
time first filling in the English column with what you think these Spanish cognates
mean. Then, use http://www.wordreference.com/ to look up the false cognates. Fill in
the Spanish column with that information. This is independent work. Please be
honest.
